Martin Luther College in New Ulm graduated 145 students Saturday morning. Reverend Paul Koelpin conducted the commencement service. Degrees awarded include 29 Bachelor of Arts, 89 Bachelor of Science in Education, 5 Bachelor of Science, four seminary certifications and 18 Master of Science in Education. MLC President Reverend Mark Zarling presented the sermon from the text John 16:33 chosen by the students. The theme of commencement was Courage for the Commission.
