New Ulm man charged with sexual assault 10 Apr 17

A New Ulm man is facing false imprisonment and criminal sexual conduct charges after a woman says he refused to let her out of his vehicle and sexually assaulted her. The woman’s husband called police on Wednesday saying she had texted him saying she was being held against her will in a vehicle by Colten Camacho. The criminal complaint says she got into his vehicle that day because Camacho allegedly offered her alcohol and drugs. She allegedly told police that he groped her and she said a gun was in the center console of the vehicle. Camacho was charged Thursday with felony false imprisonment and two felony and one gross misdemeanor count of criminal sexual conduct.
