New Ulm K-9 Officer Juneau retires 19 Apr 17

The New Ulm City Council authorized the retirement of New Ulm K-9 Officer Juneau from the New Ulm Police Department and ownership of Juneau was transferred to Sergeant Jeremy Reed. Juneau joined the City of New Ulm in 2010, replacing Thunder and has served the community of New Ulm and surrounding counties. Not only was he a drug sniffing dog for local law enforcement, Juneau was a Good Will Ambassador for the police department because of his friendly, social nature. Juneau has a degenerative spine condition which is forcing his retirement. His replacement, Booker, has been purchased and is currently in training with Officer Byro.
