Cleveland School Board member resigns due to felony charges 20 Apr 17

The Cleveland School Board has filled a vacant seat open because a member of the board resigned earlier this month. Board member Chad Phillips resigned after he was charged with felonies in both Le Sueur and Fairbault Counties recently. Bill Connor was appointed to the position. Connor took part in last year’s school board election. A special election will be held this November to permanently fill Phillip’s seat. The new member’s term will run until 2021.
