Teen jailed after early morning crash in Olivia 20 Mar 17

A 19-year-old Olivia man was arrested after driving into a parked vehicle at a residence early Saturday morning. According to the Renville County Sheriff’s Richard McMath was traveling east on Highway  212 near 7th Street in Olivia around 4:45 Saturday morning when he missed the turn into the Casey’s General Store parking lot, drove over the curb and crashed into a vehicle parked in the yard of a nearby residence. There were two passengers in the vehicle at the time of the crash. No injuries were reported. McMath was arrested for probable cause of driving impaired and driving with a revoked license. He is expected to be formally charged pending blood test results from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
