Person ejected from vehicle in Renville crash 16 Mar 17

A person was ejected from a vehicle Wednesday afternoon in a three-vehicle car accident one miles south of Renville. The Renville County Sheriff’s Office says a Chevy Surburban driven by 62-year-old Duane Baalson of Sacred Heart ran a stjop sign on 840th Avenue in Crooks Township. He was struck by a Chevy Astro van driven by 53-year-old Joe Ross of Renville that was being towed by another Chevy Astro Van driven by 57-year-old Quentin Keehl of Renville when they were traveling north on 240th Street. Ross was ejected from the vehicle. He was flown to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale with non-life threatening injuries. He remains in stable condition. No one else was injured in the crash. It is believed that Ross and Keehl were not wearing seatbelts.
