Brown County Prokinship Director recognized as Outstanding Professional 15 Mar 17

The Brown County Prokinship for Kids Director was given special recognition in February for her distinguished and dedicated service in the field of Family and Consumer Sciences in Minnesota. Kari Beran received the Outstanding Professional Award and currently heads a mentoring program for at-risk youth in Brown County. She also serves on the Minnesota Association of Family and Consumer Science board and on many committees. She is president of the New Ulm Kiwanis Club, a member of the New Ulm Community Education Board and vice president of the Underage Substance Abuse Coalition of Brown County.
