UPDATE: Nicollet County couple arrested on criminal sexual conduct 13 Feb 17

A New Ulm couple was arrested Friday and charged with criminal sexual conduct and child endangerment. According to the criminal complaint, on February 3rd, the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation that resulted in the arrests of 56-year-old Robert Sorenson and 42-year-old Wendy Sorenson. A Victim told investigators that Robert Sorenson touched her sexually multiple times over the course of several months in 2013. In 2017 another victim was bathing when she found a video camera recording her. She went to her mother, Wendy Sorenson who told the victim not to worry the video would be deleted. The victim also went to Wendy Sorenson saying her dirty underwear were missing. Wendy Sorenson denied Robert Sorenson would take her underwear and later called her spoiled. Wendy Sorenson has been charged with 3 counts of gross misdemeanor child endangerment. Robert Sorenson has been charged with 5 counts of felony criminal sexual conduct and 5 counts of felony second-degree criminal sexual conduct.
