Tailgate Chili

2 medium onions

1 green pepper

2 lbs pork sausage

2 cans kidney beans, drained

1 – 12oz can corn, drained

1 – 15oz can tomato sauce

1 – 6oz can tomato paste

1 cup water

2 tsp chili powder

1 tsp salt

Process onions and pepper until fine. Brown sausage breaking into small pieces. Remove sausage with slotted spoon. Pour off drippings, reserving 3 tsp in skillet. Add chopped vegetables to pan and saute 5 minutes at medium heat. Add sausage and all ingredients. Simmer, covered, 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
