Graduation rates improve slightly 25 Feb 15

The Minnesota Department of Education released a new report showing the state’s graduation rate increased from 79.8 percent in 2013 to 81.2 percent in 2014.  The report showed gains among all student groups over the last year.  Some area high schools are reporting higher graduation rates than the average.  Comfrey and Red Rock Central are reporting 100% graduation rates.  New Ulm Public had a graduation rate of 94.63%, Springfield Public 97.37%.  Nicollet Public, Sleepy Eye Public, St. Peter Public, GFW, Lake Crystal Welcome Memorial, Martin County West and St. James all report over 90% graduation rates.
