New Ulm Man Accused of Lotto Fraud 19 Aug 14

A New Ulm man is facing felony charges for stealing $2,025 in state lottery tickets while working at the Freedom Gas Station in New Ulm.  21 year old Vincent Gosewisch, is facing felony theft in Brown County District Court. He admitted to printing off lottery tickets without paying in May after being confronted by the gas station manager. He told police he started printing a few tickets during overnight shifts but quickly escalated to printing hundreds of dollars in tickets each shift. Gosewisch also said he checked the tickets for winners in Mankato and other towns to avoid getting caught. He is schedualed to make his first court appearance on Sept. 2nd.
