The school board of Independent School District No. 88 (New Ulm Public Schools) referendum will be on the ballot of the August 12th Primary today. District 88 is asking for $46.9 million to purchase land to be able to build a new high school and remodel Jefferson, Washington and the current high school. Needs that are highlighted in the referendum are appropriate classrooms for required programs, recommended movement space, updated technology, secure entrances and safe bus loading zones.
