Wal-Mart Employee Theft Sentence 22 Jul 14

An 18-year-old New Ulm man that had been accused of stealing around $1,100 from the New Ulm Wal-Mart while working there has been sentenced to a year of probation. Quintin Alexander Branch received a stay of adjudication on a 90-day jail sentence for the theft charge, and was also fined $200. The thefts reportedly occurred on 3 different occasions while Branch was working as a cashier at the Wal-Mart. He submitted a written statement to police admitting to the crimes, and will also be required to write a letter of apology and pay restitution.
