Ricky Nolasco tossed six innings of one-run ball for the win as he improved to 5-and-6. Twins catcher Joe Mauer left last night’s win over the Royals with a strained oblique. He will be re-evaluated today. Mauer is hitting .271 with two homers and 28 RBI in 76 games this season. The Twins and Royals play the rubber match of their three-game series today at Target Field.
