Twins Win, All Star Game 14 Jul 14

 Brian Dozier [[ DOH-zhjer ]] launched two homers and drove in four runs as the Twins cruised to a 13-5 win over the Rockies at Coors Field.  Eduardo Escobar went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI.  Sam Fuld and Chris Parmelee each batted in two runs for Minnesota, which has won five of six to improve to 44-and-50 heading into the break.  Phil Hughes picked up his 10th win after striking out six in five frames of work.   

Brian Dozier will represent the Twins in tonight’s Home Run Derby at Target Field.  Jose Bautista, Yoenis Cespedes, Adam Jones and Josh Donaldson will also rep the AL.  Troy Tulowitzki, Yasiel Puig, Giancarlo Stanton, Todd Frazier and Justin Morneau are on the NL squad.  The All-Star Game is tomorrow night. 

Twins catcher Kurt Suzuki and closer Glen Perkins will play in the 2014 All-Star Game tomorrow night at Target Field. Catch all the action on 860 AM KNUJ. Minnesota opens the second half of the season on Friday at home against the Tampa Bay Rays.
