A patient at the Minnesota Security Hospital in St. Peter who failed to return to the facility after being issued a day pass has been sentenced to a year in prison. 44-year-old Patrick Grande pleaded guilty to one of the two felony escape from custody charges filed against him in May. Authorities say that Grande was provided with a security hospital campus pass on April 18th, but didn’t come back. He was located 4 days later by the Anoka Police Department. He was sentenced to one year in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud in Nicollet County Court on Tuesday.
