More E. Coli Cases From Applbee’s 18 Jul 14

The Minnesota Departments of Health and Agriculture continue investigating an outbreak of the E. coli 0111 strain linked to Applebee’s. Officials have now confirmed two more cases, bringing the total number to 15. The Health Department’s Mike Schommer says Applebee’s has been very cooperative, including pulling the Oriental Chicken Salad off their menu. Investigators say 12 of the ill people ate at an Applebee’s restaurant in late June. The locations include Blaine, Duluth, Roseville, Willmar, Woodbury, Monticello, Bemidji and New Hope.
