4th of July Events Around the Area

Butterfield will be having fireworks on July 5th in the city park.

Cambria will be celebrating the 4th of July starting Thursday,with fireworks on the ball diamond starting at dusk. A parade will be held on Friday at 1pm.

Gibbon invites everyone to enjoy an old-fashioned Independence Day celebration. Patriotic activities of all kinds will be happening including a special patriotic concert by The Gibbon Area Uncommon Band of Renown. 

Hanska is having a day full of excitement for their 4th of July celebration. Rookies youth baseball, bean bag and bocce tournaments hightlight the day, with fireworks at dusk.

Lamberton will at having fireworks at dusk on the 4th of July.

Mankato will be having fireworks at Riverfront Park at dusk.

Morton’s Independence Day celebration starts with a kickball tournament on Thursday, with activities Friday, followed by fireworks at dusk.

New Auburn’s 4th of July celebration will start today with the Firemen pork chop feed. Tomorrow, they will have a picnic, softball tournament and other activities, along with fireworks at dusk courtesy of the VFW.

New Ulm will be having a concert performed by the Original German Band of New Ulm at Riverside Park at 5pm, followed by the New Ulm Municipal Band, salutes by New Ulm Battery and a reading of the Gettysburg Address all today. On Friday, there will be a free concert at Turner Hall starting at 11am.

Sleepy Eye will be dedicating Veterans Park at 7pm and having fireworks at dusk on the lake on Friday for Independence Day.

St. James will be having fireworks to celebrate Independence Day on Friday on the lake starting at dusk.

St. Peter is celebrating the 4th of July with a parade at 1oam, followed with a concert performed by The Divers from 1-4pm. Fireworks at 10pm at the Nicollet County Fairgrounds.
