Ice Cream Brownies

1 fudge brownie mix

1/2 gallon softened vanilla ice cream

2 cups sifted powdered sugar

2/3 cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels

1-1/2 cups evaporated milk

1/2 cup butter

1 tsp vanilla extract

1-1/2 cups chopped pecans

Prepare brownie mix by directions on the box. Pour into a 9×13 inch pan and bake. Let cool in pan. Spread ice cream over cooled brownies and freeze. Combine sugar, morsels, evaporated milk and butter in saucepan. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to medium; cook for 8 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and nuts. Cool. Spread over ice cream and freeze. Cut into squares before serving.
