Josh Willingham and Joe Mauer each drove in two runs to lead the Twins to a 6-5 win over the White Sox at Target Field. Sam Fuld went 2-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and two runs scored for Minnesota, which completed the four-game sweep. Phil Hughes gave up five runs in five frames but still picked up the win and improved to 8-and-3. Jared Burton earned his first save.
The Twins begin a six-game west coast road trip tomorrow in Anaheim against the Angels. The teams will play three games before Minnesota heads to Texas for three. Kyle Gibson gets the ball for the Twins in the opener. He is 6-and-5 with a 3.25 ERA in 14 starts. The Angels will counter with left-hander C.J. Wilson, who is 7-and-6 with a 3.34 ERA.
