Twins Split In Milwaukee 04 Jun 14

Josh Willingham smacked a three-run homer and Brian Dozier drilled a two-run shot as the Twins beat the Brewers 6-4 at Miller Park.  It was Willingham’s fourth homer in the last six games.  Josmil Pinto plated the other run for Minnesota, which has alternated wins and losses over its last six games.  Samuel Deduno improved to 2-and-3 with the win and Glen Perkins earned his 15th save. 

After two games in Milwaukee, the Twins and Brewers continue their four-game home-and-home series tonight at Target Field.  Ricky Nolasco will get the ball for Minnesota.  He is 3-and-5 with a 5.70 ERA in 11 starts.  Milwaukee will counter with right-hander Marco Estrada, who is 5-and-2 with a 4.03 ERA.
