Twins Snap Skid 20 Jun 14

Joe Mauer doubled in the go-ahead run in the bottom of the eighth inning as the Twins topped the White Sox 4-2 at Target Field.  Kurt Suzuki drove in an insurance run in the eighth on a sac-fly for the Twins, who snapped a five-game losing streak.  Yohan Pino tossed seven innings of two-run ball in his debut.  Casey Fien picked up the win and Glen Perkins earned his 18th save. 
 The Twins continue their four-game series with the White Sox tonight at Target Field.  Ricky Nolasco looks to even his record for Minnesota.  He’s 4-and-5 with a 5.66 ERA in 14 starts.  Chicago will counter with right-hander Hector Noesi, who is 2-and-5 with a 5.37 ERA.
