Take A Kid Fishing Weekend In MN 06 Jun 14

It’s “Take A Kid Fishing” weekend in Minnesota. Starting today (FRI) through Sunday, Minnesotans age 16 or older can take a child 15 and younger fishing without a license. The DNR’s Mike Kurre says Minnesota is second in the nation per-capita when it comes to the number of anglers, behind only Alaska, but the average angler in Minnesota is their late 40′s and it’s time to get the younger kids “hooked.” For more information on Take A Kid Fishing Weekend you can go to the DNR’s website.
