Minnesota Q1 2014 Export Report 13 Jun 14

Minnesota exports of manufactured, agricultural and mining products increased by 2% in the first quarter of the year to $5-billion. Department of Employment and Economic Development Commissioner Katie Clark-Sieben says exporters saw strong gains in traditional markets, but also made headway in newer markets for Minnesota products.  Exports grew by 11% in the Middle East and 16% in the Australia-Pacific region, while sales to Mexico jumped by 49%. Canada was again the state’s top national market with sales of $1.2-billion.
