Minnesota Is #1 For Senior Care 20 Jun 14

The AARP announced Thursday that Minnesota is ranked first in the nation for the care we provide to seniors and people with disabilities. Minnesota scored top marks in the five areas measured: affordability and access, choice of setting and provider, quality of life and quality of care, support for family caregivers, and effective transitions. Following the news, Governor Dayton said that “as Minnesotans, we believe in providing our parents, grandparents, and people with disabilities the best possible care,” and he went on to thank those who have worked very hard to provide the high quality services upon which our citizens depend.
