Talks between the Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors about a possible trade for All-Star Kevin Love have hit a snag. ESPN reports the impasse is over an “organizational split” in the Warriors willingness to part with guard Klay Thompson. Reports on Friday indicated that Thompson had been added to trade talks along with David Lee.
The Timberwolves are gearing up for the NBA Draft which starts Thursday in New York. The T’wolves currently hold the 13th pick in the first round and picks 40, 44 and 53 in round two. Cleveland has the top pick followed by Milwaukee and Philadelphia.
