I-90 Motorcycle Accident Update 16 Jun 14

The Minnesota State Patrol has announced that a Wisconsin man involved in a serious motorcycle accident on Interstate 90 Sunday evening has died from his injuries. The accident happened at around 5:30pm in Faribault County. 30-year-old James Verville of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin was driving a 2002 Harley Davidson eastbound on I-90 when he lost control and drove into the median. He was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with serious injuries, and has since been pronounced dead. The Harley was totaled, and Verville was not wearing a helmet.

    I was one of several people that helped Jim at the scene of the crash until paramedics arrived. Many people continued to stop and try to help. I am so sorry for your loss.

    I witnessed the accident, called 911 (someone had already started getting the call going) as fast as group was travelling (speed limit or close) a helmet probably would not have mattered. May he rest in peace……….
