The start date for a road construction project in the Gaylord area has been pushed back a week. Motorists driving highways 5, 19 and 22 will encounter detours as crews begin the first state of a two-year full reconstruction project Monday, July 7. Work will continue into the fall of 2014 and resume with additional stages to be completed in 2015. Public meetings will be held each week beginning July 10 to provide updates. Also motorists on Highway 109 from west of Easton to Highway 22 at Wells will be detoured beginning next Monday as crews construct a new surface for the road. That project is scheduled to be completed in mid-September.
