Thunderstorms & Tornadoes Coming 07 May 14

Thunderstorms moved through parts of south-central Minnesota early this (WED) morning, with some locations seeing some hail also. Meteorologist Mike Griesinger says that it should be a quiet day of weather now, but the thunderstorm threat will return for the southern two-thirds of the state as the sun goes down. He says thunderstorms will likely blossom across Central & Southern Minnesota and then work towards the north, with a chance of large hail overnight. Griesinger says that there will be a chance for tornadoes on Thursday in an area from Brainerd south to around Fairmont and to the east.
