Teen Injured In Gaylord Update 24 May 14

Authorities have released the names of the 2 teens involved in a serious crash between a bicycle and a car in Gaylord Thursday night. 13-year-old Holden Abrams of Gaylord was riding a bike southbound on 4th Street in Gaylord when he went through a stop sign at about 8:45pm and was hit by a Buick LeSabre traveling westbound on Lincoln Avenue. Abrams reportedly suffered serious injuries in the crash, and was taken to the Gaylord Hospital and then flown to the Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment. A condition report is not available. The driver of the car, 17-year-old Anessa Weber of Gaylord was not injured. Gaylord Police and the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
