US Senator Amy Klobuchar will be visiting several communities in southern Minnesota today (WED), including Nicollet and New Ulm. Klobuchar is conducting a “Highway 14 Tour” of the region to discuss the ongoing efforts to complete improvements to the highway from Rochester to New Ulm. The Senator will be stopping in Owatonna, Dodge Center and Rochester this morning. She will then be at the Nicollet Fire Hall at around 3:30, and at the AMPI Butter Plant in New Ulm at around 4:45. Each stop is expected to last about 45 minutes, and will deal with the local impact of Highway 14 in it’s current condition.
