The cleanup continues after a train derailed in Waseca Monday afternoon. It happened at around 4:30pm as the train was leaving the yard. A Canadian Pacific spokesperson says that a total of 8 cars were involved in the derailment, and grain spilled out of one of the cars onto the tracks. No injuries were reported. Fifth Street Southeast in Waseca was closed Monday evening as crews cleaned up the grain and made repairs to the tracks. The road was expected to be re-opened this (TUE) morning.
