The New Ulm League of Women Voters is sponsoring a community forum today (WED) titled: “The Aging Population Shift: Is New Ulm Ready?” Organizers say it will be a chance to get a closer look at the community and it’s demographics. Topics include housing options, health care, mobility and accessibility, caregiver support, and more. University of Minnesota Family Life Consultant Gail Gilman-Waldner will be the moderator for the Aging Population Shift Community Forum. It takes place from 6-8pm today at the New Ulm Public Library and is free and open to the public. It will also be broadcast live on 860AM-KNUJ and www.knuj.net.
