Head coach Todd Hoffner and his MSU football team will be on the practice field today (FRI). Hoffner is back in Mankato after an arbitration ruling said the school must give him back his job after he was cleared of child pornography charges. MSU Athletic Director Kevin Buisman offered Hoffner an apology after he was fired from MSU two years ago after what was described as pornographic pictures of his children were found on his work cellphone. The charges against him were dropped. Hoffner’s return sparked a rebellion by players who said they wanted their interim coach to remain in his post, but the players rallied behind Hoffner following a meeting with school officials on Thursday.
