MN Month Of The Military Child 07 Apr 14

Governor Dayton has proclaimed April the “Month of the Military Child.” The Minnesota National Guard’s Captain John Hobot says it is an important commemoration. He says to be without your mom or dad during a deployment can be very hard, and that this special month is a great way to show support for not only the military but for the children who make sacrifices as well.  Hobot says in the spirit of the 4th annual “Purple Up! Day,” military families and supporters are also encouraged to attend a recognition event on April 15th at the State Capitol.
