Minnesota judicial officials have issued a warning on a new phone scam involving jury duty. Residents of several counties have reported getting phone messages saying they had failed to return a jury summons. The message asks for a return call. When the call is returned, someone named Angel answers the phone and reportedly asks probing questions. Prospective jurors in Scott County have also reported getting calls from someone who says that he’s Major Paul Stevens, and that there’s a warrant out for their arrest.
