The Minnesota Wild rallied from a 2-0 first period deficit, sent the game to overtime, and eventually lost a shootout to the St. Louis Blues 3-2 in St. Paul last night. St. Louis jumped out to the lead with a pair of early goals, followed by Minnesota goals in the second frame from newcomer Matt Moulson and Jason Pominville. There was a scoreless third period and a scoreless overtime, leading to a shootout. U.S. Olympic hero T.J. Oshie (OH-shee) of Warroad did what he does best, scored in the shootout to push his Blues to the victory. Wild goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov (ILL-yuh breez-GAH-loff) stopped 20-of-22 shots and allowed goals on both of the St. Louis shootout attempts.
