The superintendent of the Red Rock Central School District died unexpectedly last week. John Brennan died Tuesday night in his home after attending a school concert earlier in the evening. He had been superintendent of Red Rock Central for the past 15 years. Brennan was named an Administrator of Excellence during his time at Red Rock Central, and the district’s high school was named one of the top 100 high schools in the nation, as well as one of the top 10 in Minnesota. A celebration of life service for Brennan will be held at 1:30pm on Wednesday in the Red Rock Central auditorium, with a visitation starting at noon. Brennan reportedly donated his body to science.
