The annual Scouting for Food drive was held Saturday in New Ulm, and Boy Scouts picked up a total of 3,634 pounds of food for the local food shelf. This is close to collections the past few years. Over 100 people, ages 11 to 84 were involved in the food drive. Besides the Scout drive, the food shelf is collecting food during March from many local churches and businesses. All food and monetary donations received during March qualify for a partial matching grant from Minnesota Food Share and the Feinstein Foundation.
