A 21-year-old New Ulm man has been sentenced to 45 days in jail and 15 years of supervised probation on a 3rd-degree criminal sexual conduct charge. Tyler Joseph Rowley received a stay of adjudication on the charge during his sentencing Monday, and the successful completion of his probation will result in the dismissal of the charge. Rowley was arrested last year after the victim admitted to having sexual intercourse with him multiple times while she was between the ages of 13 and 16. Rowley has an extensive prior criminal history as well, including being involved in multiple burglaries and thefts throughout New Ulm in previous years. He will not be civilly committed on the criminal sex charge at this time.
