Update On MNsure Enrollment 27 Feb 14

The board of directors for Minnesota’s health insurance marketplace learned Wednesday that a series of software fixes and ramped up staffing are beginning to produce results for MNsure. Interim MNsure CEO Scott Leitz told the board that enrollments have increased by 54% since the end of the year, and that MNsure now has the processes and staff in place to make sure that people can get enrolled before the March 31st deadline. Another 50 workers have been added to the MNsure call center as well, helping bring call wait times down to an average of three minutes. Another 30 workers have been brought on board to process paper applications for those who can’t complete their enrollments online also.
