Two Hurt In Local Area Rollovers 13 Feb 14

A Comfrey man was injured in a rollover accident on Highway 14 east of Cobden early this (THU) morning. 46-year-old Scott Brandel was driving a Chevy Lumina eastbound on Highway 14 when he lost control after hitting a snow drift and the car went into the ditch and rolled at around 3:45am. Brandel was taken to the Sleepy Eye Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt. 

 

A 35-year-old St. James man was involved in a rollover accident in Madelia Wednesday morning. It happened at just after 8am at the junction of Highways 15 and 60. The State Patrol says that Patrick Casey lost control of his Kia Rio on an icy patch on westbound Highway 60 and he then over-corrected and the car went into the ditch and rolled. Casey was taken to the Madelia Community Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt. The Madelia police Department and Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
