A 19-year-old Lonsdale woman is recovering after an early-morning rollover accident today (SAT) in Rice County. The State Patrol says that Jennifer Fehling was driving eastbound on Highway 19 at around 6am when she lost control of her Chevy Blazer. The truck rolled, landing on its roof. Fehling was rushed to the hospital with what were deemed non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities report that the road was icy at the time of the crash.
A Robbinsdale woman was injured in a rollover crash on Highway 71 near Morton Friday afternoon. 24-year-old Alora Ward was driving a Nissan Maxima northbound on 71 in Renville County when she lost control of the vehicle on the icy highway at around 3:40pm and it went into the ditch and rolled. Ward was taken to the Redwood Area Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Her car took severe damage.
A rear-end crash in McLeod County Friday evening sent a Hutchinson man to the hospital. The State Patrol says 22-year-old Keagan Bonhus was taken to Hutchinson Health for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. He was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Jaime Blackketter of Lester Prairie. The other vehicle was driven by 45-year-old Michael Shelton of Maple Plain. Blackketter and Shelton were not injured. Both vehicles were westbound on Highway 7 when the crash happened at just after 5:30pm Friday just west of Silver Lake.
