Two Springfield residents were arrested Wednesday after allegedly selling more than $2,000 worth of cocaine to undercover officers. 32-year-old Latasha Adoga and 49-year-old Curtis Gould were taken into custody following an extensive investigation by the Brown-Lyon-Redwood-Renville Drug Task Force. Authorities say that the 2 met with undercover officers and arranged to sell an ounce of cocaine for $2,200. Adoga was arrested at the BP gas station on Highway 71 north of Sanborn after the alleged sale was completed, and Gould was arrested sometime later at his residence in Springfield. They are being held in the Redwood County Jail on charges of selling a controlled substance and conspiracy to sell a controlled substance. The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and Springfield Police Department assisted in the investigation.
