A 21-year-old New Ulm man has been charged with felony burglary and two counts of theft of a firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm for allegedly stealing a .22-caliber rifle from his father’s home. Maurice Anthony Kimball remains in custody in the Brown County Jail after being charged Thursday. He was arrested after being spotted walking near the Shag Road in New Ulm while carrying a rifle. A methamphetamine pipe was also allegedly found in his possession. Kimball has a previous conviction for receiving stolen property. His bail on the latest charges has been set at $100,000.
