A Redwood Falls man has pleaded guilty to a felony drug charge for his role in the fatal overdose of a St. Paul teen in 2012. 26-year-old Robert C. Kibble was sentenced to 27 months in prison on Wednesday, with 66 days credit for time served. He will begin serving the sentence immediately. Kibble and 20-year-old Jacob Sawyer of St. Paul were charged in the death of a 14-year-old girl who was given a cocktail of codeine and methadone on her birthday and was found dead the next morning. Kibble had a previous felony conviction for selling drugs in St. Paul in 2010. A charge of giving alcohol to a minor was dismissed in exchange for his guilty plea in the latest case. Sawyer still faces charges of drug sales and giving liquor to a minor, and is scheduled to be back in court February 28th.
