Carrot Salad

1 bunch carrots

1 lemon

1 can crushed pineapple

sugar, about 3/4 cup

raisins, optional

Grind or chop as many carrots to fill your salad bowl. Add the juice of the lemon. Add ¾ cup sugar, less if desired; stir well. Then add crushed pineapple and mix well. Refrigerate. Add raisins, if desired. Stir before serving.
