Carrot Bread

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup orange juice

1/3 cup corn oil

1 egg

1-1/2 tsp vanilla

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup whole wheat flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1 tbsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp salt

1-1/4 cups grated carrots

Beat together sugar, oil, egg, orange juice and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and add to mixture; blend in grated carrots. Bake in a 9×5 inch loaf pan at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
