Wild Rice Soup

1-1/2 cups uncooked wild rice

7 slices bacon

1 medium onion, chopped

1 quart milk

2 cans cream of potato soup

1 cup Velveeta cheese

Cook rice. Fry bacon; saute the onion with bacon. Drain excess grease. Combine with milk, cream of potato soup and cheese . Simmer for 1 hour.
