Two Willmar men were killed in a rollover accident in Renville County Friday afternoon. It happened at just after 3pm on County Road 16 about 11 miles northwest of Hector in Osceola Township. Authorities say that 31-year-old Jose Lopez Deleon and 23-year-old Julio Giron were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the vehicle when it rolled and they died at the scene. They were passengers in a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Jose Prado-Marquez of Willmar. He and a third passenger, 50-year-old Ramon Contreras of Willmar were taken to the Hutchinson Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle apparently hit a patch of ice and the driver lost control. The vehicle then entered the ditch and rolled multiple times.
